About Faux Leather Covers

Faux leather, typically made from polyurethane (PU), is commonly referred to as PU leather in the book printing industry.

The production process is similar to that of a standard casebound book, with the main difference being the use of faux leather to wrap the cover.

Like cloth cover wrapping, decorative techniques for faux leather are limited to embossing and foil stamping. Due to its classic and luxurious appearance, it’s often used in high-end art books and handheld journals.

How our Pricings Work

faux leather is an add-on. Simply determine the book cost, then calculate the leather cover cost using the calculator above. Add other add-ons, such as debossing, or a dust jacket, to get the final quote.
