Can I use a cloth cover on the book I’m ordering?
For our book orders, cloth covers are used on hardcover books because the material is wrapped over the rigid cover boards. Start with a hardcover book quote, then add the cloth cover as an option.

What is the minimum order quantity for a cloth-covered book?
Our offset production orders usually start at 250 copies. The cloth cover is added to a hardcover book order and cannot be ordered separately.

How do I choose a cloth or linen cover color?
We have listed our available cloth and linen cover materials and colors on the cloth-cover page. When placing your order, include the material name, color name, and color code you selected. We will confirm availability before production.

How much does a cloth cover add to the price of a hardcover book?
The cloth-cover cost depends mainly on the book size and order quantity. Use the pricing calculator to estimate the cloth-cover add-on for your book.

Does the cloth-cover calculator include the full price of my book?
No. The calculator shows the cloth-cover add-on cost. The hardcover book, foil stamping, debossing, dust jacket, shipping, and other options are priced separately. Add the cloth-cover estimate to your hardcover estimate, or send us the complete specifications for a confirmed quote.

Can I use full-color artwork on a cloth cover?
No. We are not able to print full-color artwork directly onto the cloth. For a title, logo, or simple artwork, consider foil stamping or debossing. If your cover needs full-color artwork, use a printed case wrap or dust jacket instead.

Will choosing a cloth cover make production take longer?
A cloth cover may add production time because the material must be confirmed, sourced, cut, and wrapped over the hardcover boards. A physical sample, foil stamping, debossing, or other custom finishes can add more time. We will confirm the expected schedule after reviewing your selected material and finishing options.

Can I see a cloth-cover sample before ordering the full quantity?
Yes. You can order a physical sample for an additional cost before approving the production run. The sample interior is normally digitally printed, but the cover can use your selected cloth and finishing options. This lets you check the material, construction, and decoration before moving forward. Ordering a sample will add time to the schedule, so request it when placing the order.
